Wednesday night to Thursday
It’s a Wednesday night. Quiet with bouts of raining and excessive journal writing. Lately I’ve been trying different journaling apps. Each one is fantastic and wonderful with great things going. Problem is I don’t want those things. I want what iA Writer does with my words. This patient sense of weaving words in no particular order and no bullets. No prompts. No focus. Instead much like this blog relation, my journals just go hither. They wander around life here, some issues, fears, my upcoming trip to Kampot. They just go wherever.
The blogpost starts with the best of intentions. I should write on a “thing”. I don’t need things though so I rebel. All along the rain stutters and taps our porch. The aluminum echoes. It has been raining less or more all day. I walked home in a delightful mix of soft raindrops and a hesitant sun. Then it got serious and I found my afternoon waiting.
Then to evening.
Then to writing.
And here I am. I know this will not finish until tomorrow because this is how I rock this blog. Besides why finish this now when I can just prolong your reading experience.
Now I’ll listen to some history. A podcast or a sleepy time thing on YouTube. I must use the Brave browser because it plays in the back ground. The story is about the Trojan war. What led up to the Iliad. A story that has kept my interest and lost it a few times.
Now this becomes tomorrow.
Thursday is a day
A rainy day and it’s early. Sleep is elusive. I think will muster my reserves and get a tuktuk somewhere later. It’s difficult walking in the rain at the house sometimes. Especially when I’m lazy and sleep not so good. I defer to paved streets and sidewalks when I feel this way. I know I cannot miss a day. I feel miserable and uncomfortable when I do that. So I’ll let the morning go along. See how it feels. Maybe I will write from a place downtown today.
Well my final chapter is walking through puddles. Down our dirt road to a nice little place to sit almost outside. Have my morning. Hope your time zone treats you well.
